About Me

Hello! Thank you for visiting. I’m a UX designer living in North Carolina.

You can read my blog using the links on the left, or you can check out my UX Portfolio (currently under construction!).

I have been working in the tech world since 2014. I served in a customer support role until 2018. Since then I have been a full stack UX Designer, involved in every stage of the process from research to release.

I love learning, problem-solving, and helping people – I enjoy having a career where I can do all three on a daily basis. The creative design process is enlivening and enlightening; I love rapidly generating ideas in a brain storming session, or decisively trimming the fat. I especially enjoy seeing the impact of my work on people’s lives.

In my free time, I enjoy cats, yoga, baking, and hiking with my family. My past jobs include classical violinist and museum educator.

I can be contacted at hopkins.giovanna@gmail.com.

P.S. I was invited to speak at SupConf 2017 in Seattle, WA. You can read about my presentation on burnout here!
